Mr. Kassel was appointed as the chairman of the board of directors of the company in 1998. Mr. Kassel also served as the chief executive officer of The Reclamation Group from November 1998 to April 2005. Mr. Kassel is one of the original founders of Reclam. Prior to Reclam’s founding, from 1970 to 1999 Mr. Kassel served as joint chairman and chief executive officer of Lenkas Metals, Welkom Scrap, Alpha Metals, Tswana Metals, Alrode Scrap, Makas Metals and Estrella Metallica.

Mr. Kassel joined the group in 2001, he has fulfilled various roles within the group during his 18 years with the company. He was appointed as a Director on the board and Group Chief Operating Officer in September 2011.  Since he joined the company he significantly contributed to the company’s expansion and in September 2017 was appointed as the group's Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Pleaner obtained his Bachelor of Accounting Degree at the University of Witwatersrand and further completed his CIMA qualification. He joined the company in 2010 and gained experience in various roles within the company, he was appointed to the board of directors in June 2017 and fulfills the role of Group Trading Director.

Mr Collett obtained his Bachelor of Accounting Degree through the University of Johannesburg and further completed his CA (SA) qualification.  He joined the company in 2010 straight from articles and gained experience in various financial roles within the company. He was appointed to the board of directors in June 2014 and fulfils the role of Group Financial Director.
