The Recycling Industry

 

The recycling industry incorporates a range of activities involving the purchasing, collection, processing and trading of various industrial and post consumer recyclable materials, often referred to as “scrap”.

Recyclable raw materials are sorted according to product type and grade, and then reduced and densified to a variety of recycled ferrous and non-ferrous (or non-magnetic) materials used as input in the manufacturing processes of our customers. Most of our customers are local and international manufacturers of products from steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper, lead, zinc, aluminium, tin, plastic and paper.
